THE PLAIN DEALER
The following is a 1992 report written by Duane Kaley, then chief detective for the Portage County Sheriff's Department. It's an account of Kaley's interview with Lewis Lehman concerning the murders of Cora and Bearnhardt Hartig. The last sentence includes the reference to Lehman declining Kaley's request that he take a polygraph test.
